During the pandemic, people started asking the studio for classes. MUD began in response.
Today, the studio combines technical teaching, ceramic research, and exchange between students and teachers.
Before your first class

Philosophy
Ceramics brings art, craft, and research together. MUD welcomes beginners and guides each student through the process.
Drying and firing are part of learning and set the pace for each piece.
Classes let you test forms, clay bodies, and glazes as you develop your own projects.
Exhibitions
Each year, the studio closes its activity cycle with a group exhibition. A shared theme and selected artists guide the research and ceramic work.
