Methodology
We created our own material, which we call the Ceramics ABC, to guide and organize our classes.

We begin with 8 foundation classes. During that cycle, students experience different modeling techniques - pinch pot, slab, coil, and wheel - while moving through every stage of the process, from wedging the clay to the finished piece.

Our focus is to develop autonomy, creative freedom, and technical repertoire so that each student can build their own relationship with ceramics.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need previous experience?+
No. MUD welcomes beginners and structures the first stage clearly, without reducing the richness of the process.
How long is the initial cycle?+
The first stage, called the ceramics ABC, lasts 8 classes and focuses on technical foundations and material repertoire.
How do drying and firing work?+
Pieces need drying time and kiln stages. Final pickup is not immediate, and that is part of the nature of ceramics.
Are there one-off classes?+
Yes. The one-off format is a good way to experience the studio, understand the rhythm, and see whether you want to continue.
